FinanceHub
A set of client-side financial calculators for handling money in Venezuela's multi-currency context. Everything runs in the browser — nothing is sent to a server. Four modules: multi-currency calculator, live market prices, optimal top-up combinations, and a fee calculator.
Analysis / Modeling
Clean architecture applied to vanilla JS with no framework: domain → application → infrastructure → ui layers with one-way import direction. Layer separation doesn't require a framework on top. A per-provider adapter pattern with Promise.allSettled means one API going down degrades the page instead of breaking it.
The best micro-case: Venezuela's central bank (BCV) publishes tomorrow's rate around 3:15pm local time. The adapter checks the date against "today in Venezuela time" and falls back to the previous rate if the current one is still in the future, so the displayed rate is always the valid one. That's local domain knowledge turned into code — hard to fake and easy to tell.
